What we do with your details
An order needs a name, an email address and somewhere to deliver it. This page sets out exactly what we collect, who sees it, how long it stays, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who is responsible
BrickAlternative is the storefront of Beijing Miwu Xiaozhan Trading Shop, which is the data controller for orders placed here. Questions about this policy, or a request about your data, go to [email protected].
What we collect when you order
The checkout asks for an email address, a recipient name, and a street address, city, postcode and country for each parcel. The order we receive also records the items, quantities and prices, the order number, the storefront currency and the time the order was placed.
The checkout shows card number, expiry and security-code fields as part of the payment step. Those values are never added to the order, never written to our order database and never sent to our staff: the record we keep holds your contact and delivery details only.
What we do not collect
- There are no customer accounts and no passwords.
- There are no analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking scripts on the site.
- We do not buy or rent contact lists, and we do not sell order data.
Why we hold it
- To pack and deliver the order, and to answer questions about it.
- To handle returns and refunds, which needs the original order on file.
- To keep the accounting records that tax law requires.
- To detect fraudulent or automated orders and keep the order service available.
Who sees it
Cloudflare hosts the site and stores each order under its order number. Telegram delivers an order alert to our private order chat, which only staff can read. The warehouse that dispatches a parcel receives the address that parcel needs. Nothing else is shared, and no data is sold.
Our warehouses sit in the United States and the European Union, so an order may be processed outside your own country. Where that happens we rely on the transfer safeguards our providers offer.
How long we keep it
An order record is kept while the order is open, through the 30-day return window, and afterwards only for as long as accounting and tax rules require. It is then deleted. Cart contents stay in your browser, not on our servers, until you place the order.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the details held against an order, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Email [email protected] with the order number — it starts with BA- — and we will answer within 30 days. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies and local storage
The site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. It keeps a few preferences in your browser instead: the cart, the storefront you chose (United States or Europe), the language you picked, and the colour used for product titles for the length of the session. Clearing site data removes all of them, and the catalogue still works.
Children
The store sells collector sets intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. An order is governed by the version that was live when it was placed.
Questions
Email [email protected] with your order number — it starts with BA- — and we will reply within 2 business days.
